Valerie and Allan are the husband and wife team behind V & A Creative Moments.

Allan was given his first camera for his 12th birthday and set up his own dark room at home.
He bought his first SLR when he was 22 and moved on to digital 5 years ago.

Allan studied photography at Metropolitan College in Glasgow and regularly attends training courses run by other practicing professionals.
He is a member of SWPP & BPPA (Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers and the British Professional Photographers Association)

Valerie has always been fascinated by make-up and how it can enhance the way you look.
Her mother tought her from an early age to take care of her skin and she loves the old hollywood-style glamour of film stars such as Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe and Grace Kelly .

Valerie has expanded her knowledge of make-up and its art over the years.
She has studied 'Make-up Techniques' at Langside College in Glasgow and was professionally trained by celebrity make-up artist Carol Wilson of 'SISSTARS'.  
As a believer in lifelong learning, she regularly updates her skills learning 'best practice' from other professionals and most recently attended the Jane Iredale Makeup Training Course.

She has also worked with other photographers as the make-up artist for model portfolios.
