V&A Creative Moments is a husband and wife partnership led by photographer Allan Tannock BSc(Hons) and Make-up Artist/Designer Valerie Tannock BSc, S.A.C. Dip.
Their business venture is a lifelong ambition - the culmination of years of study and practice at a subject they love.

About Allan:
Allan has always had a talent for the arts from his early days as a folk singer.
His love of photography began when was given his first camera for his 12th birthday (many years ago) and set up his own dark room at home.
He bought his first SLR when he was 22 and moved on to digital 8 years ago.
Allan began preparations for a professional career in photography by attending the Metropolitan College in Glasgow and the Illuminatus Academy of Photography in London. 
He has also trained with some of the best photographers in their field - Tom Lee Cr SWPP, FSWPP; Martin Grahame-Dunn FMPA, FRSA, QEP, Hon.FMPA; Trevor Yerbury FSWPP; Mark Cleghorn FSWPP, FMPA, FBIPP, FRPS, QEP; and worked alongside other practicing professionals in the industry, sharing ideas and experiences.
He is a member of SWPP & BPPA (Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers and the British Professional Photographers Association) and is fully insured with Public Liability and Professional Indemnity.

About Valerie:
Valerie has always been fascinated by make-up and how it can enhance the way you look.
She loves the old hollywood-style glamour of film stars such as Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe and Grace Kelly.
Coming from a scientific background and after raising her family she started her formal training in make-up artistry 5 years ago and has successfully completed her Diploma in Professional Beauty Make-up. She has gained practical skills at the hands of some of the best in the business and built an ever growing portfolio of bridal and photographic work.
As a believer in lifelong learning, she regularly updates her skills learning 'best practice' from other professionals. Most recently she successfully completed the Jane Iredale Makeup Masterclass in Special Event/Bridal Makeup.
She is a validated member of ABT (Associated Beauty Therapists) and BABTAC (British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology) and is fully insured with Public Liability and Professional Indemnity.
Although she teams with her husband for the the majority of her work, she has also worked with other photographers as the make-up artist for model portfolios and weddings.
